Port Blair, Dec. 18: A delegation of Non-Gazetted Govt. Officers’ Association led by the General Secretary, Shri R. Rajendran recently visited the Mayabunder area and met with the government employees working in various offices and schools. During the interaction with the government employees, it was found that there are several long pending issues in the area which is not being heard by the authorities of district administration and the employees are facing lot of hardship.

Port Blair, Dec. 18: CPR. Environmental Education Centre organised four days program for B.Ed trainees of Tagore Govt. College of Education on Science & Technology communication of best practices and awareness raising on climate change & biodiversity conservation in Andaman & Nicobar Islands. The programme was organised in association with the National Council for Science and Technology Communication, Department of Science and Technology, Government of India.

Shri D Ayyappan, Secretary, CPI (M) A & N State Organizing Committee has condoled the sudden and untimely death of Shri Rajendra Babu (66 years), former Private Secretary in the Forest Corporation, Port Blair, his wife and retired PGT of Education Department Smt Sandhya Babu (62 years) and their grandson (6 years) in a tragic car accident at their home town Thrissur in Kerala today (19.12.2022) afternoon. I convey my heartfelt condolences to the grieving family members, Ayyappan said in a message.
